Unplugged Volume 2 is a follow up to Unplugged Volume 1 .-a lengthy collection that serves as a sort of personal musical diary. The concept is to capture the essence of the acoustic Rick Lawndale heard frequently at coffee houses, open mics and as opening act for myriad electrified .bands throughout the L.A. area .(prior to the pandemic)

The music is unplugged in the sense that all guitar is acoustic although it does include electric keyboards .and a drum machine when needed.
As before, Rick has recruited some notable guest musicians such as Gene Williams ( acoustic guitar, banjo and harmonica) , The Italian Stallion ( piano and organ), Oscar Rospide ( keys, accordion and guest vocals) as well as Rick Sepulveda on guitar and mandolin.
